ATC’s Decommissioning Process

  • Step 1: Meet with Client

    ATC meet with the client to establish the specific requirements for the decommissioning service.

  • Step 2: Route Planning

    ATC returns to the client with a staged plan outlining the actions to be undertaken, the list of stakeholders involved, permissions to be gained, and any other required information based on discussions in Step 1.

  • Step 3: Rack Removal

    ATC prepare and remove the racks safely from the data center.

  • Step 4: Secure Transport

    ATC securely transport the End of Life (EOL) equipment to the appointed location.

  • Step 5: Data Removal

    ATC undertakes a data scrub to ensure all data is securely removed from the equipment.

  • Step 6: Equipment Recycling

    ATC takes the equipment through the recycling phase of this process and issues the client with a certificate of destruction.
